Business Technology Trainer – Genesys Works
Part-Time (20 hours per week) | Temporary- Seasonal (Summer Program) | Fully Remote

Genesys Works is seeking an engaging and knowledgeable Business Technology Trainer to deliver virtual training sessions to high school students as part of our summer program. The Tech Trainer will equip students with essential technical skills to prepare them for success in professional internships and future careers. This is a part-time (20 hours per week) temporary role running from May 19^th to July 25, 2025, with compensation at $23/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate engaging, hands-on virtual training in areas such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, IT fundamentals, and workplace technology tools
• Create an inclusive and supportive online learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and levels
• Grade student assignments, complete evaluations, and record progress in a timely and organized manner
• Collaborate closely with the Program Coordinator to align training with program outcomes and support student success
• Monitor student engagement and progress, providing feedback and support as needed

Qualifications:

• Background in IT, computer science, or a related field (training or teaching experience preferred)
• Strong virtual facilitation and communication skills
• Ability to manage a virtual classroom and keep students engaged
• Experience with grading and student assessment is a plus
• Passion for youth development and creating equitable access to career opportunities
