Genesys Works is a national non-profit that has been advancing economic mobility for the past 22 years. Genesys Works has helped over 10,000 students from low-income communities to access college and earn a degree at three times the rate of their peer group, earning $60k on average by age 24. We partner with over 200 high schools from underserved communities in 8 U.S. cities – and connect their students to large employers and early-career roles.

Genesys Works seeks an experienced connector and relationship builder for our next Sr. Director of Enterprise Partnerships to develop 10-12 large corporate partners into “Enterprise” accounts – engaging C-Level leaders to develop opportunties across multiple departments and lines of business across multiple U.S. cities. Reporting to the Chief Strategic Growth Officer, the Sr. Director, Enterprise Partnerships will engage with the Executive Directors and/or relationship owners of our largest accounts across the network to identify and evaluate our existing corporate partners and identify those most ready to become an “Enterprise Partnership”. The Sr. Director, Enterprise Partnerships can be based remotely, and must be willing to travel to other GW sites if necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for working with others to jointly-manage partnerships worth $5 million plus annually, and you will be responsible for growing those partnerships in the aggregate by $1 million per year.
  • Evaluate existing partnerships (company size, number of cities where GW could engage, talent needs, growth rate, and current level of engagement) to determine which partners are best suited for enterprise engagement;
  • Develop account plans with the Executive Director or relationship owner as appropriate to identify next steps and long-term potential for engagement;
  • Present solutions to stakeholders and prospective partners to assist in the sales process;
  • Track, measure and manage our corporate partners’ success against metrics to maximize results;
  • Provide partners with performance data and collaborate with their teams to drive growth;
  • Complete analysis of renewals, growth and learnings;
  • Attend meetings with corporate partners;
  • Lead Sales Effectiveness Training efforts when asked; and,
  • Occasional business development duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has the following:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, account management, or management consulting - engaging C-level leaders and executing on revenue opportunities of $500k+
  • Advanced experience in managing corporate partnerships and earned revenue, especially if in the non-profit space
  • Advanced experience in generating leads and managing pipelines
  • Experience in leading teams and conducting training opportunities
  • Ability to quickly build trust and credibility with corporate partners and all other internal and external stakeholders
  • A great customer service mentality and ability to communicate and problem solve
  • Strong presence and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
  • Strong sense of accountability for both our program and your own personal/professional development
  • Ability to relate to and work with diverse populations in a variety of settings
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
